Minnesota Duluth rose from No. 7 to No. 5 in both national polls released Monday following a 3-1 and 3-0 home-and-home sweep of Minnesota over the weekend to improve to 2-1 on the season.
North Dakota, which tied and beat Bemidji State in a home-and-home series to move to 2-0-2, remains No. 1 in the USCHO.com poll while Nebraska-Omaha, which is 4-0 after road sweeps of Minnesota State-Mankato and Vermont, is No. 1 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.
The Bulldogs continue nonconference place this weekend on the road at Notre Dame, which is unranked but receiving votes in both polls.
The UMD women remain unranked following a home sweep of Minnesota State-Mankato.
